To Protect and Defend
the holy lands, and the Christian pilgrims who traveled through it.
Was that the only mission they were charged with? Or was there
a deeper motivation that inspired them to voyage into the hostile,
and often deadly Muslim areas?

Templars Rise
became a nightmare for those who sat in the seats of power throughout Europe. None more frightened than the King of France, who apparently became heavily indebted to the Templars.
Why was France allowed to borrow vast sums from the Templars; what did France know?

What did the Templars
have that the King of France knew about?
Prior to the formal decree leading to the kill or capture
of all Templars, did the Templars fear the King and his
threats he waged against them?
There's something missing, what were the events leading up
the harsh decision handed down by the King?

What Will History
have us believe? So much has been lost or misinterpreted, how will
we ever know the truth, how will we ever be certain?
"History only needs one thing; to be re-examined, constantly."
~JP Noel~
Someone once told me: the more we know the less we believe.
Respectfully, I beg to differ,
"the more we know, the better we can believe."

The Knights Are Long Gone
but clues to their chaotic past still live with us;
as if to remind us, or to haunt us of a world
in constant flux and conflict.
Much as it is today, much as it will be forever.
This is the world we live in, this shall be the world
we pass onto whomever is left.

The Conflicts Rage On
from the first fight of Cain and Able to the last two
humans left on this planet there will be killing.
We started this way, we evolved this way, and in the end,
we too shall perish this way; it is our destiny.
Humans, have not spent more time in any area, other than trying to
best figure methods of self-extermination. Yet, whether you
believe in creation or evolution, we are the winners in this
fragile chain of existence, called of life. We have won.
